Paradise Kiss

I'm talking about both the manga and anime. Ai Yazawa, the mangaka that also did Nana (ナナ), Tenshi Nanka Ja Nai (天使なんかじゃない) and Gokinjo Monogatari (ご近所物語) (Apparently, the stories here are linked to Paradise Kiss).




I must say, the manga is lovable, however the ending is... nevertheless, sweet but painful.

Paradise Kiss is, something 'different'. It is a 5 volume relaxing, funny, fashionable and stylish manga. You can relate the character's experience in dealing with life, future and even stress. In short, you see yourself in it.




Paradise Kiss is kind of reality-based. So romance didn't turn out as it should be, with all the happy-ever-afters. But hey, that's real life. Painful but acceptable.
