Hobby Convention

Today, I was fashionably late for an important event to... KK's very first Hobby Convention.



I was there because of the cute guys cosplayers!



Their outfits looked cool but I couldn't figure out which anime character they were cosplaying.





Haruhi from The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi (涼宮ハルヒの憂鬱, Suzumiya Haruhi no Yūutsu)!



Here's a villain from Saiyúki (最遊記). The mad scientist guy with the bunny who has a twisted personality.



Here's I'm-not-sure-who-but-it's-definitely-not-Sailormoon, Chobits (ちょびっツ, Chobittsu), Me and I-don't-know-for-sure-who-she's-dressed-up-as.

It is a hobby convention after all, there's some promotion of some local manga magazines. Dungeons & Dragons' station is ther e, too. Not to mention some online games!

There were some dance competitions too, not bad, I'll say. To tell the truth, I didn't expect anything much from crappy dancers of KK, but boy, was I soOo wrong, there are actually real good dancers around here, no kidding.

I would have post the dances up if it wasn't because of the video's awfully terrible bad quality. And that includes the Suzumiya Haruhi 涼みや　春日(Hare Hare Yukai　晴れ　晴れ　愉快) dance too. I have a photo of the ending of the dance though.






After the convention, I went... shopping.

But of course, I didn't last more than 2 hours as usual. My sister had to drag me around until I saw... this!










An outfit cost a bloody RM300.00 - 400.00. I always had a thing for cosplaying, just that my budget can't afford me to do so. T.T
